Tour Our Boat With Us!
In this week’s vlog, we return to the boat for the first time since officially owning it.
It was not an easy track to make it back to the boat. After closing, we set a plan to return to New York the week of Christmas. We packed our camper van with everything we needed to start projects, install new electronics, and all our food to get through the week. The van was completely packed full and at 5 am we hit the road. After about 2 hours of driving, we stopped to fill up our trunk and some bad luck hit. Our van wouldn’t start back up and Colin broke a fuel line when looking for the problem.
Two hours later, we are on our way back to our house following a tow truck. We thought our trip wasn’t going to happen after all. Luckily, my mom let us borrow her car and we booked a hotel on Priceline. We packed my mom’s car slammed full and hit the road again. We were 5 hours behind but we were going to make it to see our boat.
After a ten-hour drive, we made it to our hotel room and couldn’t wait to see the boat the next day!
